The second semi-final of Momentum One Day Cup 2019 will be played between Warriors and Lions at Kingsmead Durban tomorrow evening. Both the sides will be looking to knock out each other and secure a spot in the finals. The match will begin at 05:00 PM IST.
In the first semi-final, Titans and Cape Cobras are locking horns at SuperSport Park, Centurion to advance into the finals. The final of the tournament will be played on March 31, Sunday. The venue for the final is yet to be decided.
Both the sides have come face to face twice in this season and have registered one -one win each. The two teams first met at Kingsmead Durban on Feb 26 in which Warriors registered 8 wickets under the DLS method. Having opted to bat first, Dolphins posted 244-10 in 49.2 overs. In the second clash at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth, Dolphins registered a massive 9 wickets win after chasing down an easy total of 224 runs. Batting first, Warriors managed 223-9 in 50 overs with the help of skipper JJ SMutt’s 76 of 99 deliveries. In reply, Dolphins chased down the target in 35.5 overs with 9 wickets in hand.
