VKB Knights will square off against Warriors at Diamond Oval, Kimberley tomorrow for the ninth fixture of Momentum One Day Cup 2019. They will be also hoping for their first win of the tournament as are winless in the three encounters played so far. The clash is set to begin at 05:00 PM IST tomorrow evening.
VKB Knights started their campaign against Titans and faced 9 wickets defeat in the opening fixture. Their second encounter with Lions got abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain playing the spoilsport. In the third fixture, Knights locked horns with Cape Cobras and faced another 3 wickets defeat while defending 282 runs on the board. Placed at the bottom of the ladders, Knights would be desperate to open their account with a win.
With one win and one no result in two encounters, Warriors would be eyeing the top spot with another win when they face off Knights tomorrow. After starting the campaign with 3 wickets win over Cape Cobras, Warrior’s second encounter against Lions ended in a no result after the rain came into play.
