After an anti climatic T20I series, the West Indies will be playing hosts to Pakistan for a two-match Test series. The first Test starts later tonight and will be hosted at Sabina Park. Though both teams have been fairly successful in the shortest format of the game, Test Match Cricket hasn’t seen the same amount of consistency from the two sides lately. However, with the West Indies and Pakistan having some exciting prospects, as well as some seasoned stars up their ranks, we can expect the series ahead to be an intriguing one.
Fixture Name: 1st Test, West Indies vs Pakistan
Date: 12 August
Time: 8:30 PM IST
Venue: Sabina Park
Sabina Park usually provides batting friendly wickets, and the team winning the toss would prefer to bat first. Although, the new ball bowlers could get some assistance, and there are also spinners getting into action in the latter stages.
