After a disappointing show in the ODI series, Windies Women will now look to up the ante when they face the Australian Women in a 3-match T20I series which starts from September 14th at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
The Australian women are ranked first in T20I rankings with 284 rating points, whereas, the West Indies women are placed on the fourth position with 261 rating points against their name.
Their last battle took place in the 2018 edition of ICC Women’s World T20, which saw the Windies Women regressively losing the game by a margin of 71 runs as they failed to chase down a target of 142 runs.
This hasn’t been one of the highest-scoring grounds in T20Is. The last international T20 game was played here in 2017 between Pakistan and West Indies which saw bowlers dominating the show.
