IND vs NZ Dream11 Fantasy Team

  • Since Tom Latham is injured and won’t appear in the first warm-up, the best choice, keeping this in mind is MS Dhoni. Dhoni had an amazing IPL run where he achieved his highest batting average in the IPL (42.20) and scored 416 runs. His experience on the field with the skipper Virat Kohli should help the Indian side tremendously.
  •  The highest rated ODI batsmen (890), Virat Kohli should go massive this tournament. He is also packed with experience while just having finished playing the IPL and finishing as the 8th highest scoring batsmen (464).
  • Martin Guptill, while he only played 3 matches in the IPL, he was able to rack up 81 runs. Martin Guptill has had good records on English soil and should be comfortable going into the world cup.
  • A good all-rounder choice is Mitchell Santner. He is ranked 5th best in the ODI all-rounder rankings. He took 3 wickets at an economy of 5 in two matches against Bangladesh and scored 16* in one inning.
  • Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult, one of the best swing bowlers should take advantage of the weather in England for grabbing few wickets early in the match. In the India vs Australia series, Bumrah bagged a total of 7 wickets in 5 matches against them while maintaining an economy of 5.00.
  • Shikhar Dhawan is in tremendous form right now. The veteran hit a total of 521 in the IPL and was 4th on the leaderboard for most runs. Even though the format is changing from T20 to ODI, the player should feel confident coming into this tournament because of his recent performance.
  • Dhawan’s counterpart, Kane Williamson has always been consistent with the bat. The player scored a double century and half-century in the test matches against Bangladesh and also a half-century in the ODIs. He also scored 156 from 9 matches in the IPL.
