1. 260/5 vs Sri Lanka – 2017

On December 22, 2017, during a match at Indore against Sri Lanka, Team India showcased a brilliant performance, setting a formidable score of 260/5, thanks to the outstanding opening partnership of 165 runs between Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Leading the team as captain, Rohit Sharma displayed his exceptional skills, smashing 118 runs off just 43 balls, while KL Rahul provided excellent support, contributing 89 runs from 49 balls.

Chasing the challenging target of 261 runs, Sri Lanka’s top-order batsmen, Upul Tharanga and Kusal Perera, tried to hold their ground but fell short in the end. The Sri Lankan team was bowled out at 172 runs in a mere 17.2 overs. The Indian spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav proved to be the game-changers, taking a total of 7 wickets (Chahal 4, Yadav 3), and played a significant role in securing India’s victory.
