MI vs CSK: Inching closer to their fourth title
Mumbai Indians will play against Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1. A win from here would take either of the teams directly to the finals while a loss would mean playing one more match before proceeding to the finals. Both the teams have won three titles each and their eyes will be on the fourth title when they take on each other in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Tuesday.
Will slow and steady win the race?
Both the teams finished with nine wins and five losses but their journey till here are completely contrasting ones. On one hand, where Chennai Super Kings won all but one of their eight starting matches, Mumbai Indians on the other started slow. Mumbai Indians are one of the two teams in the history of the Indian Premier League to lift the trophy after finishing on the top spot. And Interestingly, Mumbai Indians have never lost a single match in Chepauk since 2010.

Mumbai’s astounding record in Chennai’s Den
Chennai Super Kings are almost indomitable in Chepauk. However, their fortress has only been breached by the team of Indians who have defeated them in their home ground on several occasions. Mumbai Indians handed over CSK their first loss in this edition of the Indian Premier League and they also enjoy an upper hand over the latter. Both the teams have met 28 times in the IPL where while MI have won 16 times, CSK have emerged victorious 12 times.
