Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians were already having two of the best death bowlers in Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga along with Mitch McClenaghan when the cherry is new. After transfer window and Auction, They have added Trent Boult, Dhawal Kulkarni and Nathan Coulter-Nile in their firepowers. In spin department, they are having Recent India leg spinner in Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya. Hardik will also play a crucial role in balancing out playing XI and chip in with important overs in the middle. They also have young Anukul Roy and veteran Jayant Yadav in case pitch demands at away fixtures. Digvijay Deshmukh and Mohsin Khan are most likely to be kept as backup options in fast Bowling.

Kolkata Knight Riders

One team that has improved significantly after the auction is Kolkata Knight Riders. With Pat Cummins and Lockie Ferguson, they have options who can exploit Eden pitch to the maximum effect. Young Indian brigade will be thriving to convert team management’s confidence into results this year. Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi, Prasidh Krishna and Sandeep Warrier will complement the foreign fast Bowling imports. Harry Gurney’s change of pace and death bowling will come in handy at various stages of IPL. If Andre Russell is fit to bowl, they will have another box ticked. Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav is already a formidable spin twin. Chris Green and Varun Chakravarthy have the potential to be match-winners on their day if opportunity given. M Siddarth and ‘Young’ Pravin Tambe will round off the bowling department for KKR next season.

Chennai Super Kings

Home domination is the key to success for any T20 team across the league and Chennai Super Kings is one supreme example of that. Every auction, they pick players looking at Chepauk conditions. They make spin heavy attacks and then suffocate visiting teams on dust-bowls. Imran Tahir, Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla will be starting for them with able support from Ravi Jadeja. They wanted an option who is offering different trajectory than Karn Sharma, that’s why they picked Chawla at such a high price at Auction. Young Sai Kishor and Kiwi Mitch Santner will remain backup options. They also have enough Pace Bowling options for away matches. Deepak Chahar is nothing short of revolution recently and he will be joined by Lungi Ngidi and Josh Hazelwood. Either Hazelwood or Lungi, most likely one of them will play. Dwayne Bravo will again be critical for the death overs. Sam Curran, Shardul Thakur and KM Asif will get their chances as the season moves on.
