2. Royal Challengers Bangalore – 248/3 vs Gujarat Lions
Royal Challengers Bangalore have been blessed with some of the fiercest batsmen in world cricket, and this was evident in their 2016 IPL match against the Gujarat Lions. The team’s captain, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers put on a record-breaking partnership of 229 runs for the second wicket. While Kohli scored 109 off 55 balls, including five fours and eight sixes, de Villiers scored an unbeaten 129 runs off just 55 balls.
