KKR vs RCB Team News: Shakib Al Hasan has opted out of the season

So far it has not been the season Kolkata Knight Riders would have been hoping for. After skipper Shreyas Iyer ruled out for at least half of the season, another senior pro Shakib Al Hasan has opted out from IPL 2023 citing personal reasons. Shakib was slated to join KKR after the T20I series against Ireland, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board has asked him to play the one-off Test as well. Shakib has conveyed his unavailability to KKR team management and soon his replacement will be named.

Litton Das still unavailable

Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Litton Das is yet to join the squad. Das who was picked by KKR at his base price will be featuring in the IPL for the first time. He will be joining KKR’s camp after the completion of the one-off Test against Ireland.
