Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza was picked up by the Punjab Kings for INR 50 lakh in the mini-auction ahead of the IPL 2023 season. Raza will be making his debut in the IPL and becomes the first-ever Zimbabwean player to represent the Punjab Kings in the tournament. Taibu was a wicket-keeper batter who played 11 matches for the Kolkata Knight Riders, scoring 180 runs at an average of 22.50.

Taylor has played 31 T20Is for Zimbabwe, scoring 712 runs at an average of 26.37.
