Ellyse is the youngest cricketer to represent Australia (both men and women cricket) and the first international sportsperson to represent Australia in both Women Cricket World Cup and Women Football World Cup. She has represented three football clubs in Australia namely, Central Coast Mariners, Canberra United and Sydney FC and at the national front, she has represented Australia Women Football and Australia U-20 Women Football. After representing Australia in both Cricket and Football she had to make a call and choose one game at the time of London Olympics in 2012, that is when she opted to continue playing Cricket for Australia Women.
