Australian cricketer, Elyse Jane Villani began playing cricket with her three elder brothers and started at the age of 7 under-12 boys’ team. Villani started off her carrier in Under-21 and is an aggressive top-order batswoman.
She now plays for the Australia national women’s team, domestically for Victoria in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Perth Scorchers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). Some middling performance didn’t ave her spot in the side and she made a come back in the 2012-13 season with a stellar season for her home team.
She made one appearance at the 2009 ICC Women’s World Twenty20. She was appointed one of Australia’s 2015 Women’s Ashes Touring Party in England on June 2015. Elyse admitted if she weren’t a cricketer, she’d be a school teacher or a police officer.
