  • Ishan and his brother Raj Kishan both were passionate for cricket since their childhood. However, even after being a good cricketer Raj Kishan sacrificed his career for the sake of his brother’s because he always felt that his brother has been something special
  • Ishan got his nickname ‘Definite’ from his local friends who started calling him the name after he expressed that the character of Definite Khan, played by Zeishan Quadri, was his favourite from the movie Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012
  • Despite hailing from Bihar, Ishan chose to represent Jharkhand since Bihar lost its affiliation with BCCI and it wasn’t possible until his brother and coach advised his father to send him to Ranchi, Jharkhand for more exposure
