Lesser Known Facts

Joe Root is the first and just batsman to have made 30 or more scores in every one of his initial 10 ODI innings.

Root’s partners at the school used to call him ‘FEC’ or ‘Future England Captain’. And now since 2017, he is the Captain of England team in real.

As much as he enjoys the cricket, he is somewhat of a prankster both on and off the field.
