South Africa, having taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match Test series, have given touring Pakistan a hammering in the two tests played so far. Coming here, there are a few qualms about South Africa’s batting with Faf banned for slow over-rate and Markram doubtful. It is SA’s bowling, with Olivier stepping up in the absence of Pliander and the four-pronged pace attack wreaking havoc on Pakistan batting in the second test, to make the difference.
Pakistan have been dismal, particularly with the bat. Barring Babar Azam and Shan Masood, all the other Pakistan batsmen have struggled. Have we seen enough to dismiss Pakistan or is there an inspired performance in the store in the third test?

After a 3-0 mauling in the ODIs, Sri Lanka would expect some fortune come their way in the shortest format of the game. The tourists have been found wanting in all three games. Meanwhile, the hosts have hunted in a pack. They have batted better, in the conditions conducive for batting.
The difference between the two sides was massive in the 50-over format but the change in format does present a proposition of a close battle.
