ATL vs ESL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Espanyol host Atletico Madrid in La Liga at RCDE Stadium, in Barcelona, on Saturday night (IST).
Atletico Madrid are on course to clinch the back-to-back second-place finishes in La Liga. With nine points separating them from arch-rivals Real Madrid, they should hold on to this position. While their chances of catching leaders Barcelona are non-existent, for the Catalan giants are already crowned the Spanish champions for the second consecutive season.
Los Colchoneros have averaged more than 2 points per game this season and should overhaul the last season’s points tally. But the gulf between them and Barcelona is there to see with the consistency marring the 2013-14 Spanish Champions.
One of the reason is Atletico’s ageing backline which needs fresh arrivals.
It won’t be an easy game though as Espanyol present more than a threat to any team. They are in good form heading into this match having not lost a game in the last six matches.
But four of those games ended in draws, which took the wind out of the sails of their top seven ambitions, for the seventh-placed Athletic Bilbao are a huge six points adrift.
The La Liga match will be played between Espanyol and Atletico Madrid at Cornellà-El Prat (RCDE Stadium), in Barcelona. The ground has a capacity of 40,500.
The game will start at 07:45 PM (IST), on Saturday, April 4.
