AVL vs EVE Dream11 | Dream11 Grand League Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

Aston Villa will be looking for their first win of the 2019-20 Premier League season when they host Everton in the league at Villa Park.

Dean Smith is already under pressure following two defeats in the opening two games. Another defeat against Everton could force the board to rethink about their approach this season.

For Everton, the target must be to ensure that the bright start doesn’t end with here against a team currently struggling for form.

Marco Silva knows that behind the huge money given to him for transfer purposes, lie big expectations, which he must fulfill if he is to continue at the hot seat for a prolonged period.

Team News:

Aston Villa:

  • Villa will be without James Chester, Kortney Hause, and Jonathan Kodjia for the match against Everton.
  • Following two defeats, we expect a change from the hosts.
  • Though, the most expected change is expected to come either at the wing-positions or in the midfield.
  • Ahmed Elmohamady and Neil Taylor may find themselves on the bench with Matt Targett and Frederic Guilbert taking over their roles in the playing 11.
  • Anwar El Ghazi may be dropped for Jota.
  • Douglas Luiz ‘s last goal may see him hold his place in the playing 11 despite making a fatal error in the last game.
  • However, his place is not guaranteed, especially due to the availability of Conor Hourihane.

Everton:

  • Fabian Delph is nearing full fitness and may find himself in the thick of the action.
  • Marco Silva confirmed that he expects Lucas Digne to be fit for the match. The former PSG left-back suffered a knock in the last game.
  • Moise Keane is expected to start the game after impressing off the bench against a bright cameo off the bench against Watford. In that case, Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be dropping down to the bench.
  • Morgan Schneiderlin is available for selection after completing his one-game ban but may have to contend with a place on the bench.
  • If Digne is not fit, Mason Holgate could be shoehorned at left-back.

AVL vs EVE Dream11 Grand League Picks for Captains & Vice-Captains:

Wesley: Aston Villa’s record summer signing Wesley will be looking for his first goal for his new team, when Everton come calling to Villa Park. The 22-year-old Brazilian, a £22m signing from Club Brugge, scored 17 times last season.

Last Season:

  • Games: 43
  • Goals: 17
  • Assists: 10

Jack Grealish: Villa’s biggest star perhaps. He was on Spurs’ radar, but the Villans couldn’t be hard-pressed, and he remained on these shores. The 23-year-old is a crafty player, whose main strength lies in his passing and game understanding.

Last Season:

  • Games: 34
  • Goals: 06
  • Assists: 07

More Villa Players who can make an impact:

  • Trezeguet
  • John McGinn

Bernard: The little magician from Brazil is definitely a player who can’t be allowed even a little space, for his skill-set and dribbling skills, is just too good. Worth considering.

  • Good passing skills
  • Good dribbler
  • Close control
  • Key passing

Richarlison: Everton’s record signing till date. After starting the 2018-19 season with a bang, the Brazilian faded off in the later stages of the campaign. Regardless, he is a world-class talent.

Last Season:

  • Games: 35
  • Goals: 13
  • Assists: 01

Gylfi Sigurdsson: The 29-year-old had a wonderful season last year in front of the goal, ending up with a career-best tally in a single season. One of the most creative players in this team.

  • Games: 38
  • Goals: 13
  • Assists: 06

More Villa Players who can make an impact:
