Coliseum Alfonso Perez, Getafe, January 07 at 01:15 AM IST
Getafe will face probably their toughest challenge this season as they take on the rampant table leaders, FC Barcelona, at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday. Getafe haven't lost a game since early November but have looked patchy dropping points against the relegation zone sides. Whenever they've hit their best play, they've been too hot to handle for the opponents. A point tomorrow would be enough for them to move a place up into the sixth position ahead of Real Betis.
Barcelona will be aware of the tricky challenge that awaits them on Sunday but will come out prepared knowing that any points dropped will leave the title race wide open again. Barcelona, interestingly, too last lost a game in Matchweek 13, same as Getafe. No surprises of course, that Barcelona won most of their games post that unlike Getafe. The only aim tomorrow from the Catalans will be to walk away with three points. Anything less than that will be a negative result for Ernesto Valverde's side.

Barcelona Playing11: Ter Stegen (GK); Alba, Lenglet, Pique, Semedo; Rakitic, Vidal, Busquets; Dembele, Suarez, Messi
Getafe Playing11: David Soria (GK); Suarez, Dakonam, Cabrera, Antunes; Samu Saiz, Foulquier, Maksimovic, Arambarri; Jaime Mota, Molina
It will all come down to Getafe's defence which has so far stood strong this season and is the second best in La Liga currently. For Barcelona of course, Lionel Messi will play a key role, but more or less we believe Ousmana Dembele‘s role will be critical as well in opening up Getafe's defence. For Getafe, it has to be Jamie Mota and Maksimovic.
