Diego Martinez's side started off La Liga with a thrilling 4-4 draw at Villareal, followed by a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla. Granada bounced back in the perfect manner as they won their next two games against Espanyol by  3-0, and Celta Vigo by 2-0 respectively.

Alex Martinez, Yann Eteki, Neyder Lozano, and Fedo Vico are expected to be on the sidelines due to injuries.

Fullback, Quini, will be out of contention for several weeks after sustaining a knee injury.

Barcelona has followed a similar pattern as Granada with two wins, a draw, and a defeat.

The positive news for the Catalans was the return of Luis Suarez and Leo Messi.

Suarez scored a brace versus Valencia, while Messi is yet to start a game as he came off the bench at the Signal Iduna Park.

Jordi Alba will miss out the game against Granda as he pulled his hamstring in the Champions League fixture.

Samuel Umtiti will not be a part of the squad until next month as he sustained a foot injury.
