South American giants Brazil and Uruguay will be heading to England for an International friendly fixture to be played at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, in London on Friday night (IST).

Brazil:
Brazil will be looking for an easy win against an Uruguay team which is plagued by injuries in recent times. The Selecao are also in good form and looks to have buried the ghosts of the world cup with the four successive wins since packing off from Russia.

In fact, Tite’s men have been the most impressive team in the post world cup period as they have defeated the USA, El Salvador, Saudi Arabia and the arch nemesis Argentina by a combined score of 10-0.

The 1-2 loss against Belgium in the quarterfinals of the world cup remains Brazil’s only loss in the last 20 games or so. That’s exactly manager Tite will be hoping for in the upcoming matches as his team continues to build momentum ahead of next year’s Copa America.

Uruguay:

Now the job to turn the fortunes looks to be even more daunting as La Celeste come up against a side they haven’t got better off since 2001. As such, already weakened by the absence of so many star players, Uruguayans’ prospects look weak ahead of kick-off.
