CFC vs FCPC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Chennaiyin FC will be looking to end a four-game skid when they host Pune City in the Indian Super League at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Chennai, on Saturday evening (IST).

A long winter break and Chennaiyin FC had the chance to look for the answers for their uncanny and the disastrous season. But even the sabbatical failed to recharge their batteries as Marina Machans returned to the familiar shores and lost the game 1-0 against NorthEast United in their first game after the break.

For long, the reigning champions persisted and produced a dogged performance, keeping the dominant hosts at bay. But their tenacious approach broke as Bartholomew Ogbeche’s 87th-minute goal proved decisive. It was Chennai’s fourth consecutive loss and they remained at the foot of the table with just five points from 13 games.

John Gregory has tried everything in his capacity to change the fortunes but has worked out so far. The reigning champions have brought in CK Vineeth and Halicharan Narzary to bolster their squad.

Pune City, meanwhile, will be seeing out the rest of the campaign under the tutelage of a new manager. Phil Brown has been roped in to finish as high as possible and to also build for the future. Pradyum Reddy has done more than a decent job and he will remain serving as the first hand to Brown.

The Punekars won the last game 2-0 against FC Goa and rose to seventh in the Indian Super Legaue table.

CFC vs FCPC Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Chennaiyin FC FANTASY PREDICTION:
FC Pune City are on the up after winning three times in the last five games coming into their next encounter. They should fancy their chances, even though they are away, because of the uncharacteristic display from Chennaiyin FC throughput the tournament.
That said, there is nothing riding on this match for the hosts other than the pride, which is hurt to some degrees.
Expect a feisty affair, and you can just hope that Chennai may be propelled with a dreading possibility of propping up the table.
A win for the hosts is our call.
