CFC vs NEUFC Dream11: Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United battle it out for three points at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the India Super League match with both the teams looking to keep their playoffs hopes alive.
Chennai have been decent under Owen Coyle. The two-time champions have collected seven points in five games under Coyle, two more than what the team managed under John Gregory.
But the real test starts for Coyle as the next couple of games could make or break the whole season. After the game against Northeast, Chennai will host another top-four rival Jamshedpur, a team sitting a spot above them on the table at this moment.
Northeast United are also hard-pressed for a win. They are second from bottom, and without a win in six games. That said, the Highlanders have played the fewest games in the league so far, and can make the movement North.

Chennaiyin FC vs NorthEast United Team News:
Chennaiyin FC team news: Midfielder Germanpreet Singh has been ruled out for Chennai due to an injury. We expect Coyle to go with the same playing 11 that won 1-3 away at Hyderabad FC.
NorthEast United team news: Robert Jarni confirmed that leading goal-scorer Asamoah Gyan will be missing the rest of the season due to an injury. The club, though, reacted quickly as the Highlanders signed Irish forward Andy Keogh for the rest of the season.
“We lost Asamoah Gyan. Who is not here, we must do without him,” NorthEast head coach Robert Jarni said. “The new player (Andy Keogh) is here with us. We hope that he will play tomorrow.”
The visitors will be without their captain Jose David Leudo as well, after a red card in the last match. He is suspended as a result. His replacement Kai Heerings is also a doubt due to a knock and will be assessed before the game. If he fails to shake off the knock, expect Shouvik Ghosh to start at the back.
Pawan Kumar should start in goal despite some underwhelming performances in recent games.
