CHE vs AJA Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

Things are pretty tight in Group H all the teams in with a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds. Though, it’s Ajax who are leading the troops ahead of their next opponents Chelsea and Spanish outfit Valencia after winning both of their first two games.

Chelsea meanwhile registered their first win in the Champions League with a 1-2 win on the road against Lille three weeks ago. The 2012 champions are now level on points with the Los Che, but sit 3rd on the table due to an inferior head-to-head record.

Match Details:

The Champions League match will be played between Ajax and Chelsea at Amsterdam ArenA, in Dutch capital city of Amsterdam. The ground has a capacity of 54,990.
The game will start at 10:25 PM (IST), on Wednesday, October 23.

Ajax Team News:

Ajax boss Erik ten Hag confirmed that he expects Hakim Ziyech to be fot for the match against Chelsea. The 26-year-old Moroccan was taken off at the half-time against RKC Waalwijk as an injury precaution.

No more injury concerns for Ajax.

Likely changes for Ajax:

Nicolas Tagliafico missed Ajax’s last game through suspension but he is available for the Champions League match and should replace Noussair Mazraoui at left-back.

We expect a change in formation from Ten Hag. He will most likely go with Dusan Tadic as a forward, with Quincy Promes and Hakim Ziyech starting on either side of Donny van de Beek on the flanks.

Tagliafico, Blind, Veltman and Dest should form the backline ahead of Onana in goal.

Ajax Probable XI:

Onana (GK), Dest, Veltman, Blind, Tagliafico, Alvarez, Martinez, Ziyech, Van de Beek, Promes; Tadic

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard confirmed that centre-back Andreas Christensen will be missing the action for a couple of weeks, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains a long-term injury absentee.

In addition, Antonio Rudiger trained with his teammates this week but stayed behind in England due to lack of match fitness.
