CHE vs MCI Dream11: Chelsea takes on Manchester City in at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. Chelsea has been struggling with poor form of late with just 1 win out of their last 6 fixtures. The Blues have also lost 3 of their last 5 Premier League fixtures, including a 3-1 beating against Arsenal. They were then held to a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa despite opening the scoring in the first half. Frank Lampard’s side currently finds themselves in 6th place, 3 points off the top 4 but also 3 points off 12th place. Manchester City is in 8th place but is level on points with Chelsea and a win for either side will be crucial in determining who will be in touching distance of the top spots. Their all-important tie against Everton got postponed as well due to a Covid-19 outbreak, granting them an additional break.

CHE vs MCI Dream11, Captain & Differential Picks

Captain Options –

Kevin De Bruyne –

Assists – 11
Chances created – 61
Successful dribbles – 24

Despite not being at his best, Kevin De Bruyne has still managed to put up excellent numbers. He will look to find vulnerabilities in the Chelsea defence and find City’s attackers in space. The former Chelsea man will always be a thorn to the home side and the defence will have to do well to stop him.

Tammy Abraham –

Goal contributions (starts) – 9 (11)
Chances created – 12
Shots on target – 13

The Englishman has been one of the more underappreciated players in the Chelsea squad among the flurry of all the new big-name signings. He also scored 3 goals in his last 3 games for Chelsea, including a goal coming from off the bench against Arsenal and two against West Ham to put the tie to bed.

Raheem Sterling –

Successful dribbles – 36
Chances created – 29
Shots on target – 20

Raheem Sterling too hasn’t been in top form this season but his impact is undeniable. The England international will look to run rings around Azpilicueta and find a chance to cut in. He might even get the nod to start up front in the absence of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

Differential Picks –

Ben Chilwell –

Chances created – 25
Accurate crosses – 20
Goal contributions – 6

The new signing from Leicester has been very good Chelsea and despite playing in defence, is quite dynamic on the other end of the pitch too. His crosses have been on point and he often takes a shot on goal himself. His presence in the final third adds another dimension to Chelsea’s attacks.

Sergio Aguero –

The Argentinean has found game time hard to come by because of injuries but is now ready to at least come off the bench. He has been a thorn in Chelsea’s path many times before with 15 goals and 3 assists in just 20 appearances. Should there be a deadlock towards the end of the game, Guardiola will not hesitate in bringing Aguero on to change the game.

Mason Mount –

Chances created – 41
Successful dribbles – 22
Accurate crosses – 27

Despite getting a lot of criticism, Mason Mount has been great in terms of creativity. His job will entail playing in balls to the likes of Pulisic and Abraham as the latter will especially be looking for loose balls in the box to get on the end of.
