CMR vs NGA Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

Every game can be a knockout blow and no fixture in the round-of-16 in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations is bigger than the one between Nigeria and Cameroon.

These two giants were amongst the pre-tournament favourite, but only one can go to the next round. We will be closer to reality when the match kicks off at Alexandria Stadium, this weekend, on Saturday night (IST).

CMR vs NGA Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

How did they qualify?

  • Every team has to face their direct rivals at some stage in the big tournament if they are eying the ultimate glory. But every manager would love to face the best in the latter stages of the competition, and Nigeria are only themselves to blame for a matchup with Cameroon as they finished 2nd in the group, behind Madagascar, which was deemed as a cakewalk for them at the start of the tournament.

  • Cameroon are not setting the tournament on fire by any means. A return of just one win is not what is expected from the defending champions.

Match Details:

The Africa Cup of Nations 2019 match will be played between Nigeria and Cameroon at Alexandria Stadium, in Alexandria, Egypt. The ground has a capacity of 20,000.

The game will start at 09:30 PM (IST), on Tuesday, July 06.
