CRY vs LIV Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

With Manchester City due to play on Sunday, Liverpool can extend their lead at the top to seven points on Saturday as they host Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Anfield, in Liverpool, on Saturday night (IST).

Liverpool:
With the unbeaten tag snatched away by the defending champions at the Etihad Stadium, Jurgen Klopp knew that his team could easily end up losing their second game in the league is as many matches.

The trip to Brighton & Hove Albion is something managers can’t take lightly as the Seagulls have a pretty solid home record this season. In fact, 70% of their points have come at the Falmer Stadium this season which is also the 8th best record in the Premier League at this moment.

But the Reds clinched an important 1-0 away win, thanks to a Mohamed Salah penalty in the 2nd half. It was not a vintage Liverpool performance by any means, and Klopp himself recognized and labeled it as a “very mature performance” from his team.

The win helped Liverpool stay at the top of the summit, four points away from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. This is just the start of the crucial phase of the season, and Liverpool will be facing much harder tasks in the coming weekends. There will be some psychological pressure as well if City plays first and win to move within one point off Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp needs all his experience from his Borussia Dortmund days when he famously usurped Bayern Munich from the top of German football for the two seasons running.

Crystal Palace:
The Eagles have had a very good festive period. They won three times in the five games, including a massive and an unthinkable 3-2 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. With 10 points from the possible 15, Palace moved well clear of the relegation zone.

However, the last weekend’s 1-2 home loss against Watford, coupled with wins for both Burnley and Southampton has brought the team into the dangerous territory once again. Though the Eagles sit at 14th in the table. only four points separate them and 18th placed Newcastle United as things stand in the Premier League.

CRY vs LIV Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace Team News:

Liverpool:
Injured –
Jurgen Klopp’s task to keep the momentum going has been shorthanded by the huge injury crisis, especially at the back. It was a piece of very bad news for Liverpool and their fans when it was revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out for at least three weeks with a knee injury he suffered against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old is the latest player to head into the treatment room with Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez both remaining on the sidelines for at least this weekend.
In addition, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains a long-term absentee with a horror injury he suffered last season against Palace. The former Arsenal star is expected not to feature this season. However, it was also reported that the 25-year-old could at least make a comeback at the backend of the season.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to shrug off a knock he suffered last weekend and should start here. While Adam Lallana remains a huge doubtful despite returning to training this week.

Note: The right-back is an issue and Klopp has a huge decision to make. James Milner has been shoehorned in many positions before and we can expect this versatile player to deputize for the injured Alexander-Arnold against Palace.
Key Players – Firmino, Salah, Mane

Crystal Palace:
Injured – The visitors will be without left-back Pape Souare for the trip to Anfield.
Suspended – No Palace player will be missing the match with a suspension.
Questionable – The Eagles are facing a big issue in the goalkeeping department. First choice goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey hasn’t featured since the 3-2 defeat against West Ham on December 12th and remains a huge doubt. While his back-up Vicente Guaita suffered a knock and was taken off in the last game against Watford. If the problem persists with both of them, Julian Speroni is expected to start, making him the oldest player to play this season.
Note:  Christian Benteke made a return last weekend from a lengthy injury layoff. The Belgian striker will be keen to face his former club at Anfield, and to make matters interesting for the away fans, he scored twice against the Reds in Liverpool’s last home defeat.
Key Players – Zaha, Townsend

CRY vs LIV Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Liverpool– Alisson (GK), Milner, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Shaqiri, Mane, Firmino, Salah
Crystal Palace– Speroni (GK), Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Van-Aanholt, Kouyate, Milivojevic, McArthur, Meyer, Townsend, Zaha

CRY vs LIV Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
The loss against Manchester City could prove to be fatal for Liverpool as the reigning champions are now just four points behind them in the table. The Reds must keep going if they are to land their first league title in almost 30 years. The best way is to keep winning matches and put pressure on City.
Liverpool are well oiled at the moment and we back them to win this match.
