Delhi Dynamos will be looking for their first win of the season when they play host to a high-flying Mumbai City in the Indian Super League match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Delhi, tomorrow on Monday evening (IST).

Delhi Dynamos’ season is turning into a nightmare and irreparable when they lost 1-0 away against Bengaluru FC in their first match after the latest international break.

The story could have been all different had the visitors showed some calmness in front of the goal as Dynamos had enough chances to bury the Men in Blue.

However, as has been the case all season, the ball refused to go into the net and Delhi ended up losing their 7th game of the season, remain without a win, and on four points and at the foot of the table after the first nine games as things stand.

Manager Josep Gombau seems to be running out of ideas at the moment. There is no apparent talent on the bench who could make the difference while the squad looks short of self-confidence.

Also, there are reports in the media that Delhi are on the cusp of terminating striker Andrija Kaluderovic’s contract who has scored just one goal in the nine ISL matches.

Mumbai City:
Mumbai City, on the other hand, are having a pretty good season. They are fifth in the table with 14 points from the first eight games, eight points from the summit and only one point away from the playoff spot, having played two games less than 4th placed Jamshedpur.

Mumbai’s season didn’t start on a good note as they lost their opening game 0-2 against Jamshedpur, and could only draw the next one. But since then, they have won four times in the last six games, keeping an outstanding five clean sheets in the process. The only loss came against Goa, a 5-0 loss at Fatorda Stadium.
