In their first ever match; the Three Lions will be hosting La Roja at home and would ask for better results this time out than their previous 2-2 draw, two years back. England would be starting as favourites in this game and would want to start a new era as the Euro 2020 is not that far away.

The summer world cup will always be a nightmare for La Roja. They started off the tournament as one of the pre tournament favourites but made a shocking exit of the world cup in the Round of 16 to Russia left so many questions unanswered.
