Real Madrid have a massive opportunity to get the upper hand in the La Liga title race provided they win later tonight. Barcelona dropped two points in the 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo last night which keeps them at the top with just a point’s lead. However, Madrid will be taking on bottom of the table Espanyol, and victory for them will give them a two points cushion from their arch nemesis Barcelona. That being said, the ball seems to be on Real Madrid’s court as they stay very much in the hunt for that 34th title.
