FCG vs MCFC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Mumbai City can move to the top of the ISL table when they host FC Goa in the league match at Mumbai Football Arena, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on Thursday evening (IST).

Mumbai City:
Post-seaosn shouldn’t be a problem!
Mumbai City became the first team this season to beat Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League match. That is some tag and a kind of result which should propel them to see out the remaining regular season fixtures with their tails up.

The playoff positions shouldn’t be a problem for them. For they are 2nd with 27 points from the first 13 games of the season. Generally, in the ISL, the 30-point tally is enough to secure a top-4 finish, and Mumbai should get more than those numbers considering they have five more games in their kitty.

Mumbai – the most improved team!
Mumbai’s incredible form has much more to it than just the position on the table. The Islanders started the season with a 0-2 home defeat against Jamshedpur FC and collected just four points from first four games of the season. While the table toppers were flying and had 10 points at that stage.

So if we go by numbers, Jorge Costa and his men have 23 points in their last 9 games against Bengaluru’s 20 points in that period, making the Islanders the most in-form team in the league at the moment.

Remaining fixtures!
Out of their remaining five league games, three are against direct rivals for the playoff positions, starting with a home game against FC Goa, followed by a trip to Jamshedpur FC and then a home game against NorthEast United. Mumbai will be closing out the regular season with two successive away games against ATK and Pune City.

FC Goa:
Two games advantage!
Even before FC Goa play their match against Mumbai City, they have received huge favour from the table toppers Bengaluru FC.

The Blues were in action against NorthEast United and won the game 2-1 to move back to the top of the table. But the summit is not the ultimate prize in the ISL that FC Goa are craving as finishing the regular season at the top of the table doesn’t guarantee any team a title success, who knows better than Bengaluru themselves.

But the defeat for Highlanders have given the Gaurs a chance to create clear daylight between them and their main rivals for the top-4 places. That said because Goa sit fourth with just two points behind NorthEast. However, they have played two games fewer than them, which is a big advantage at this stage of the competition.
