Gunes made wholesale changes in the last two games, possibly trying to get to know about the fitness of some players and the possible combination to go with against France.

Despite not featuring in either of Turkey’s friendly games, Burak Yilmaz is expected to lead the attack for his country. The likes of Oğuzhan Özyakup, Cengiz Ünder, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and Mehmet Zeki Çelik will definitely start the match.

  • While France later released a statement saying they will not name a replacement.
