FUL vs ARS Dream11 Prediction: The English Premier League begins again after a short break with Fulham welcoming Arsenal to the Craven Cottage for the first game of the first matchday. Mikel Arteta’s side would like to build on their previous season’s FA Cup and Community Shield win by getting a great start to the Premier League. Arteta, who joined Arsenal last season, has brought a sense of cohesiveness to the club that they have been missing for years. Arsenal have lacked a lot of discipline in terms of structure and accountability and now they are a far more solid side. They defeated Manchester City and Chelsea en route to winning the FA Cup and beat Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League last season.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang staying at Arsenal, they will strive for a top 4 finish this season and hope to land another trophy.
Fulham, on the other hand, are a newly promoted side who are also managed by a former player – Scott Parker. They won the Championship play-offs by beating Brentford and secured promotion to the top tier of English football. They will now want to remain in the first tier as opposed to the last time they got promoted. Fulham have made quite a few signings like Anthony Knockaert, Jean Seri, Mario Lemina and Alphonse Areola and can give Arsenal a run for their money on Saturday.

Fulham vs Arsenal Dream11 Prediction Team News, Injury Report, Starting Line-ups

Fulham Team News: There are no injury concerns for Scott Parker’s side but with new arrivals, he will try to shake things up from their Championship days and create a formidable line-up. To their credit, they have signed some talented players who already have top tier footballing experience which will be crucial to them staying in the Premier League.

Probable Line-up:

Alphonse Areola (GK)
Denis Odoi
Michael Hector
Alfie Mawson
Joe Bryan
Tom Cairney
Jean Michael Seri
Mario Lemina
Anthony Knockaert
Aleksander Mitrovic

Arsenal Team News: Mikel Arteta has some decisions to make but overall, has a very strong squad at his disposal. He remains without youngster Gabriel Martinelli, as well defenders, David Luiz, Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi.
However, Arsenal have signed two new defenders and will look to build a long-term partnership between them. Goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, was out for a long time due to an injury but he is back to full fitness now and will be starting the match.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Nicolas Pepe

Who Will Win Today’s Match?

Bwin Sports are offering odds of 57/100 on an Arsenal and 9/2 to Fulham which pretty much summarizes the match’s potential outcome. Arsenal are Premier League veterans and one of the biggest clubs in the world at the moment and Fulham are a newly promoted side.  The odds heavily favour Arsenal because of the gulf in quality between the two teams. Scott Parker is also very inexperienced as a manager and this is only his second year working as a manager. Working in the Premier League in only your second season as a manager with Fulham is a very difficult job and most of their fans will be delighted if they just manage to stay in the Premier League, come to the end of the season. Arsenal, however, have very different ambitions and hopes. Arteta would be tasked with a top 4 finish and ideally another trophy. With teams in the top half strengthening heavily, it will be difficult to finish in the Champions League spots for Arsenal and they can not afford to drop points against sides like Arsenal while getting any sort of result for Fulham will be a bonus for them. Arsenal should win this game comfortably as they have good options off the bench too.

Fulham vs Arsenal Dream11 Teams

Captain Options

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Arsenal’s star man has all but signed a new contract, much to the Gooners’ relief, and will look to carry on his fine goal-scoring form. Despite Arsenal being largely poor, Aubameyang was the silver-lining and almost always the difference-maker. He scored a massive 29 goals last season and scored against Liverpool in the Community Shield. He was also the Premier League Golden Boot winner in the 2018/19 season and runner-up by one goal in the 2019/20 season.

Aleksander Mitrovic – The 25-year-old Serbian is the spearhead of the Fulham attack and has scored 26 goals last season. He also has 49 goals and 7 assists for The Cottagers in 100 appearances and has been a mainstay in their squad for a long time. The big Serb will look to get in behind the Arsenal backline and cause Saliba and Gabriel all sorts of problems on their Arsenal debuts.

Nicolas Pepe – The Ivorian winger was Arsenal’s most expensive signing and had an arguably decent season with 8 goals and 10 assists all season. He had a slow start to life in England but caught on. For his second season, he will look to break double digits in goals and assists and silence all his critics.

X-Factors (Differential Picks)

Tom Cairney – The Fulham captain has had an amazing time with them. 42 goals and 47 assists from central midfield are very good numbers and he will look to lead Fulham to a great season back in the Premier League. A Scottish international, he signed a new long-term contract with the club last season and is a favourite amongst the Fulham faithful.

Bukayo Saka – Bukayo Saka had a break-through 2019/20 season and was also nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Season. In just his first full season with the club, he had 4 goals and 11 assists and also assisted the goal against Liverpool in the Community Shield. At the young age of just 19, Arteta uses him as a Swiss knife on the left flank due to his versatility.

Joe Bryan – Playing at left-back, Joe Bryan is one of Fulham’s most important players. His masterclass against Brentford in the playoff finals against Brentford is what secured promotion for them. Despite playing in defence, he had 3 goals and 7 assists last season. 27 goals and 41 assists at the age of 26, Bryan will now try to leave his mark in the Premier League and trouble a few defenders, starting with Arsenal.
