GAL vs LEP Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

Are Red Bull Leipzig the new pretenders in Bundesliga? Or do they have the right mixture of talent and the temperament to challenge Bayern Munich for the coveted title?

Though the pre-season friendlies can not be taken as a right tool to judge a team’s real strength, for the managers are always looking to test as many new faces as possible, we can still get a fair idea about Julian Nagelsmann’s tactics for the upcoming season.

While Galatasaray are coming into the pre-season looking to build on a very successful domestic season.

RB Leipzig Team News:

No injury concerns.

The squad selected by Nagelsmann for the pre-season is almost getting to its full strength. However, 20-year-old midfielder Hannes Wolf remains on the sidelines at the moment due to an ankle injury. Though, the official reports suggest that he is making good progress.

Another player who missed the last friendly game for Leipzig is Tyler Adams. But he is back in training and looked comfortable for the duration he was on the ground. The 20-year-old American may be involved in this game.

Possible ins or outs of this game:

As was expected, Nagelsmann used two different playing-11 for either half in the last friendly game against FC Zurich which Leipzig lost 1-4.

Emil Forsberg was amongst the 2nd unit and scored his team’s only goal in that game. Considering that the Swedish international has been struggling with fitness, he may be given more minutes here to improve his fitness.

Christopher Nkunku has joined RB Leipzig from PSG in a €15 million (£14m/$17m) deal. Though, this game may have come too soon for him to be involved.

Here in this game, we may see more first-team players getting involved, with the likes of Timo Werner and Youssef Poulsen in contention to start.
