UEFA Nations League
GER vs NED  Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:

Despite the Netherlands losing some of their sheens in the last few years, they will always fall into that esteemed category called ‘Traditional Rivals’. And indeed, they are for Germany, and for every other top European nation, who will be travelling to Amsterdam to take on the host nation at the Amsterdam ArenA / Johan Cruijff Arena in a crunch UEFA Nations League match.

Crunch because, First – in a group of three teams, the margin of error is too small. You lose and you are always playing a catch-up game. Second – World Champions France are also in this group who are leading it with four points, so that margin of error must be trimmed down further. And the last – a win for either team in this match may go a long way in deciding who finishes 1st or 2nd and certainly 3rd, a dreaded last place as the team finishing 3rd will be relegated into the Nations League’s Tier-2.

GER vs NED  Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Here is the GER vs NED  Dream11 team news and injuries
Netherlands vs Germany Team News:
Netherlands: Ronald Koeman has named a strong 25 man squad for the next two International games against Germany and Belgium.

Almost all the big name players are in the squad. Cillessen should be the man with the gloves for the home team while in the defence, Captain Virgil Van Dijk should be the first name on the name-sheet. His partner at the heart of the defence could be de Vrij, while Blind may be preferred at the left-back over Crystal Palace’s Van Aanholt.

Wijnaldum, Propper, de Jong, and Strootman all are in the squad and only three of them will be starting this match.

Ryan Babel and Promes should be on the wing with Depay completing a false 9.

Steven Bergwijn is also in contention to start this match as the PSV Eindhoven winger is in explosive form for the club.

Kluivert Missing –

The most notable name missing from the squad is Justin Kluivert, the former Ajax winger who moved to Inter Milan in a mega deal on a five-year contract. Still 19, Kluivert is being seen as the next Robben in Holland. But the move to Italy didn’t materialise according to plans as he has hardly featured for Luciano Spalletti’s team this season.

Full Squad:
Goalkeepers: M. Bizot, J. Cillessen, J. Zoet
Defenders: N. Aké, D. Blind, M. de Ligt, S. de Vrij, D. Dumfries, H. Hateboer, P. van Aanholt, V. van Dijk
Midfielders: R. Babel, F. de Jong, M. de Roon, D. Pröpper, P. Rosario, K. Strootman, T. Vilhena, D. van de Beek, G. Wijnaldum

Forward: S. Bergwijn, L. de Jong, M. Depay, A. Groeneveld, Q. Promes

Germany: Joachim Low will be travelling with 21 German players for this trip. The 2014 World Champions will be missing Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger who is suffering from a groin injury, while Ilkay Gundogan remains out from national set-up. Another big name who won’t be playing this match is Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus.

Kai Havertz has also been ignored by low, while Mesut Ozil is not available for selection as Arsenal star has taken a retirement from International football.

However, Leroy Sane, who was sensationally not picked up for Russia as Low cited some attitude problem in Manchester City’s player, has been chosen and is expected to feature in this match.

Full squad:
Goalkeepers: B. Leno, M. Neuer, M. ter Stegen
Defenders: J. Boateng, M. Ginter, M. Hummels, T. Kehrer, J. Kimmich, N. Süle
Midfielders: E. Can, J. Draxler, S. Gnabry, J. Hector, T. Kroos, S. Rudy, N. Schulz

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:

Formation: 3-5-2 – The latest trend in world football is a three-man defence with the full-backs performing the role of wing-backs, exploding up and down in the most opportune circumstances. Conte changed into this formation in his first season after Arsenal thumped them 3-0 and went on a 14 game winning streak and the rest is history.
Scotland tried it yesterday with their captain Andy Robertson playing in a more advanced position and of course, he was awful. So the point is, in an attacking sense, that’s a good formation only if your wingers are ready to pitch in the defensive works.

Goalie: Well, at this moment, Germany do boast some of the best talents in this position. Manuel Neuer is, of course, their first choice but Ter Stegen is right up there with the very best and then there is Leno, the Arsenal man. Netherlands’ Cillessen is our choice in both these teams.

The Wall: Hector and Boateng from Germany, and Van Dijk from the Netherlands

The Ploughers: With no Gundogan, Kroos will be even more important in breaking up the play and sending marvellous long balls towards his teammates. He is there in the middle with Muller. Wijnaldum and Promes complete our midfield.

The Super Strikers- Depay is our main-man and that’s quite obvious because of his incredible form for Lyon. While Timo Werner will be giving him support up from in our first team.
