GER-W vs SPA-W Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

It’ a battle between the leaders in Group B as Spain play Germany in the 2nd round, with each team hoping to keep their 100% record alive, at Stade du Hainaut.

What happened in the first game:

Germany: Far from their best in game-1. Rode their luck at times against China, and needed an individual effort from 19-year-old Giulia Gwinn to bag all 3 points. With the opponents technically more sound in the next game, the two-time champions must bring their A-Game.

Spain: Not away from complications by any means. In fact, they were in a far more precarious situation than the Germans as the defeat was a reality. For the South Africans were just 20 minutes away from snatching the win. But a late rally saw the La Roja score 3 goals, bagging all three points.
