HIR vs TSU Dream11 Prediction: Sagan Tosu makes the trip to Hiroshima as they take on Sanfrecce in the J League at the EDION Stadium on Saturday. Hiroshima will want to respond to their 2-1 loss at home against Gamba Osaka with a strong performance against Sagan Tosu. Sitting 11th in the J League table, Sanfrecce has played only 18 games as opposed to some teams who have played 22 which gives them a great opportunity to leapfrog other sides in the table. Unfortunately, Sagan Tosu has played 17 games and have about 5 matches in hand with respect to other sides in the league. A win can see them close the gap between them and their opponents to just 4 points. Myung-Hwi Kim will be relieved that his side have won and drawn their last two games after a three-game losing streak and they would love to start an unbeaten run as they rise up the table. Fernando Torres’ former side, Sagan Tosu, narrowly escaped relegation in the 2019 season on goal difference. They will want to avoid a similar scenario this season and as it stands, are well poised to do so.

Who will win today’s match?

Sanfrecce Hiroshima has better odds to beat Sagan Tosu for multiple reasons. This is Hiroshima’s second consecutive home game while Sagan has been on the road for back-to-back games. The Sanfre have the better players overall and finished sixth last season while Sagan had to fight relegation and only narrowly managed to stay up. Sagan will give Hiroshima a tough fight but will have to fight the odds even though they will fancy their chances. They will try to use their youthful exuberance in Daichi Hayashi and Kaisei Ishii, both of who are in fine form, to dent Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s hopes. The home team also have some excellent players in the form of Brazilian duo – Leandro Pereira and Douglas Vieira, playing upfront. They will ask questions of the Sagan backline and get their side back to winning ways which will put them just two points behind Andres Iniesta’s Vissel Kobe, with three games to play. Captain options

Leandro Pereira – Leandro Pereira has joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima on loan from Matsumoto Yamaga till the end of the year. So far, he has done a great job, scoring 8 times and assisting twice in just 12 appearances for the club. He grabbed a goal just 10 minutes after coming on in their loss against Gamba Osaka and will definitely start against Sagan Tosu.

Daichi Hayashi – The youngster joined Sagan Tosu last August and plays as a centre-forward. He has scored an impressive 5 goals in just 4 starts (14 appearances overall). Having missed the net in his last two appearances, he will be hungry to get back on the scoresheet against Hiroshima.

Douglas Vieira – Playing alongside Leandro Pereira in attack is Brazilian, Douglas Vieira, who joined in January, last year. Since then he has scored 14 times in the J League, providing 5 assists. He was excellent when the Sanfre played Oita Trinita, scoring a goal and providing an assist as they won 2-0.

X-factors (differential picks)

Ryoya Morishita – The fullback is in great form, scoring in both his previous appearances, with one goal scored from the bench. The 23-year-old signed for Sagan Tosu just this year and will be desperate to impress and nail down that right-back spot. He will look to make life difficult for Hiroshima on their right flank.

Yoshifumi Kawiwa – The veteran has been playing for Hiroshima for the last 6 years and is currently the vice-captain of the club. Primarily playing on the left side of midfield, he has amassed 23 goals and 23 assists for the Sanfre and has 4 assists this season, with an assist in three consecutive games. He will look to keep that run going when his side takes on Sagan.

Kaisei Ishii – Having signed when he was just 18, Kaisei Ishii has been at the club for two years but only made his debut last year. This year he has done very well with 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 starts (8 appearances) already. He will look to partner-up with Daichi Hayashi upfront and help Sagan Tosu go three games unbeaten when he comes up against Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
