HN vs GZ Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups
Can Guangzhou R&F end a two-game skid and a four-game winless run in their next home game? A golden opportunity awaits them as mid-table team Henan Jianye pay them a visit in the Chinese Super League regular season match at Yuexiushan Stadium.
What happened in the season so far:
Pressure is mounting on head coach Dragan Stojković after Guangzhou‘s less than expected start to the new season.
The 15 points in 14 games is a relegation level return, irrespective of the league a team is playing in.
As things stand in the league, Guangzhou are 10th on the table, but only four points separate them from the relegation zone.
But a reason for optimism is that Guangzhou will only face teams in the next four games who are either fighting for their life or are sitting in the bottom half of the table.
Not far from them on the table is their opponents Henan Jianye.
But the visitors have a tad more momentum after going on a three-game unbeaten run, with the last game resulting in a 1-0 win over Shenzhen FC.
It’s really a six-pointer for a win for Jianye will create a five-point gap between them and Shangzhou on the table.
The Chinese Super League match will be played between Guangzhou R&F and Henan Jianye at Yuexiushan Stadium, in Guangzhou, China. The ground has a capacity of 18,000. The game will start at 05:05 PM (IST), on Saturday 29.

Guangzhou R&F Team News:
First the foremost, the hosts will have to make do without their top scorer Eran Zahavi. The 31-year-old Israeli attacking midfielder was sent off in the last game and will be serving the first of his two-game ban here.
In addition, veteran Guangzhou R&F striker Xiao Zhi remains out with an injury and will play no part in the match.
Possible INs and OUTs of this game:
You can expect some changes from manager Dragan Stojković. Zahavi’s replacement will be a forced one, while some changes could come from a tactical point of view.
Zahavi‘s suspension leaves a room for another foreigner in the matchday squad. It’s most likely to come at the back as Dusko Tasic is looking for his rare start in this game.
While Gui Hing is the expected player to replace Eran Zahavi up front. Though a false nine is an option as well, in that case, Dia Saba may play in the forward position with Gong Zhang moving into the midfield.
Midfielder Ye Chugui missed out last week and could find himself in the thick of the action considering lack of options at the manager’s disposal.
Guangzhou R&F Probable XI:
Yuelei (GK), Haifeng, Tosic, Yi Teng, Tang Miao, Dembele, Fan Yunlong, Ye Chugui, Dia Saba, Li Yuyang, Gui Hong
Henan Jianye Team News:
Henrique Dourado‘s season ended before it could start after the 29-year-old Brazilian suffered a horrible injury in the very first game of the season.
Christian Bassogog is not available for selection either with the Cameroonian representing his country in the AFCON Africa Cup of Nations 2019.
Missing the game for the visitors will be another Cameroon player in the form of Franck Ohandza. The 27-year-old will be serving a one-game ban for the accumulation of yellow cards.
Possible INs and OUTs of this game:
Olivio da Rosa, aka IVO, is the only foreign player available for the team at the moment. He will definitely start for the team.
Considering Henan Jianye won the last game, expect the manager to stick to his winning combination.
However, Bassogog is not available, so one change is certain t happen here.
Midfielder Abduwal Ablet could be the player starting the match, while Du Changjie may is expected to start the match as a lone striker.
Henan Jianye Probable XI:
Wu Yan (GK), Lu Yao, Han Xuan, Gu Cao, Chen Hao, Ablet Abduwal, Ivo, Wang Shangyuan, Tim Chow, Zhong Jinbao, Du Changjie
