JUV vs FIO Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

If Fiorentina need a boost to haul themselves out of their current slump, then the next game can go a long way in doing just that.

The Viola are set to play host to the reigning champions at Stadio Artemio Franchi. They are yet to open their account for the season following two defeats in the first two league games.

Juventus meanwhile have made a flying start to the new season, after winning both their games. They are held back from the top-spot by Inter Milan’s better goal difference.

The hosts are on a very awful run. They are not winless this season but have not won a league game dating back to last year, a run of 16 games.

Can they snap the skid against the biggest of the challenges facing any Serie A team?

The Serie A match will be played between Fiorentina and Juventus at Stadio Artemio Franchi, in Florence, Italy. The ground has a capacity of 43,147.

Possible INs and OUTs of this game:

  • Vincenzo Montella confirmed that Franck Ribery should be fit for the start after training all week with the squad. The former Bayern Munich superstar played both the league games from the bench due to the lack of match fitness.
  • If the 36-year-old starts, expect Italy U-21 star Riccardo Sottil to drop down to the bench.
  • No more changes are expected. Montella should name much of the side which featured in the opening two games.
  • In addition, Fiorentina added Pedro to their roster after agreeing on a deal with Brazil club Fluminense. The Brazil U-22 star will be wearing the historic no-9 shirt, previously worn by Batistuta. He may be involved here from the bench.

  • Despite Matthijs de Light’s less than convincing start in Italy, the young Dutchman should start alongside Leonardo Bonucci at the back.
