LEI vs LIV Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Liverpool will be looking to keep Manchester City at a distance in the Premier League race when they host Leicester City at Anfield, on Wednesday night (IST).

Liverpool:
By the time Liverpool prepare to kick the ball at Anfield, the pressure to win the game could already be a must-win situation for Jurgen Klopp and his men.

It’s because for the first time in a month, Manchester City will be in action a day before the Reds play their game. It means City could cut the lead at the top to just one point with a win over Newcastle United.

This will be a different sort of pressure, the kind of which the Reds haven’t felt this season. Will they continue to play freely as they have done in most games this season, or City force them to crumble under the incessant pressure? Only time will tell.

But there’s no denying that Liverpool are the worthy leaders for their efforts and the brand of football they showcased. They have kept the most clean sheets, conceded fewest goals and scored the 2nd most goals so far in the Premier League.

And perhaps, the second half of the season will reveal more about Jurgen Klopp and his team’s character. The injuries are certainly taking their toll on the team, and together with suspension, these factors can stretch a team’s roster beyond its zone.

Leicester City:
Without a shadow of any doubt, Leicester City have been by far the most unpredictable team in the Premier League this season. No, we are not talking about the wily or cunning nature that their nickname effuse, it’s their results which have shocked every fan and pundits alike.

The Foxes have been blowing hot and cold, never putting on a decent run of form. Based on that and their results, the festive fixtures were predicted to be fatal for Claude Puel whose job is still far from secure.

During that run-in, the 2016 Premier League champions were due to face both Manchester City and Chelsea. Tough, very tough!

Guess what? Leicester won both those games.

But the problem is that Leicester are dropping points and are losing against teams they are supposed to beat. Take for example, the home game against Cardiff City. Puel’s men lost that game and became the first side in the Premier League to gift Bluebirds their first away win of the season.

Those are the reasons why the manager is facing the heat at the moment.

As things stand, Leicester are sitting at 9th in the Premier League table, and have the chance to move into top seven.
