  • A host of Liverpool players were kept busy by the international assignments long after the club season ended with the Champions League in June.

Jurgen Klopp is leaving no opportunity to test the depth of his squad in the pre-season. In the first two friendly games, he fielded all the 22 players in both the matches. You can expect the trend to continue here as well.

However, Virgin Van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson were the last trios to report back to Melwood following their involvement with the national squads. They were not involved against Bradford City, but are expected to be in the thick of the action at some point in the match.
