MAR vs BOD Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Marseille have the chance to climb up the table when they meet Bordeaux in the Ligue 1 match at Stade Vélodrome, in Marseille, France, on Tuesday night (IST).
One of the true giants of French football, a club which was once the best in Europe, is now suffering from the ignominy of the modern cash-driven football world.
Their long-standing rivals, PSG have gone beyond the conceivable zones and up into their own utopian world. The money has brought and bought them success, and the current situation is that no team even comes close to challenge them for the Ligue 1 supremacy.
Marseille are one of the teams who have failed to keep up the pace with the cash-fueled Parisians. And as a football fan, it just doesn’t look good to see their current apathy.
At the moment, the Les Olympiens are sitting at 10th on the table, a huge 25 points behind eternal rivals PSG. But the gap is a mere indicator of how the season may have gone and the real difference can be more than just the points tally. Marseille’s doesn’t bode well at all. The frontline and the defensive department look like two different unit at the moment.
With the Champions League places being cut down to just three due to the inferior co-efficient ranking of Ligue 1, Marseille’s season is going beyond repairable.
However, there are still 16 games to play in the season and a lot can happen in that period. Marseille must start winning on a regular basis to bring their season back on parity with a decent level.
Bordeaux meanwhile can only imagine their golden past which brought them good success. The winner of 7 Ligue 1 titles, with the last one coming in 2008-09 season, they are more of a mid-table team these days than the one which was playing in Europe on a consistent basis a decade ago.

MAR vs BOD Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Marseille vs Bordeaux Team News:
Thauvin’s tackle on Kone was deemed as hostile.
Injured – Star playmaker Dimitri Payet has been ruled out with an injury, while 33-year-old defender Adil Rami is out as well.
Suspended – Florian Thauvin was shown a straight red card for his straight lunge on right-back Youssouf Koné. It was a dangerous tackle which deserved a sending off. The 26-year-old was handed a two-game ban with the game against Bordeaux his last one.
Questionable – None.
Note: With 11 goals and 4 assists, Florian Thauvin has been Marseille’s best player this season. His absence will definitely give the hosts some concerns when going for the attack. To make matter worse, Dimitri Payet is out as well, which makes the Oranges short on creativity.
But Morgan Sanson can rise up to the occasion and he is our main-man in this game. While Mario Balotelli is always a threat, but it always depends on his mood.
Key Players – Morgan Sanson, Valere Germain
Injured – The visitors have Nicolas De Preville, Aurelien Tchouameni, Zaydou Youssouf all ruled out with injuries.
Suspended – None.

MAR vs BOD Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Marseille FANTASY PREDICTION:
Marseille are in free fall in the Ligue 1 this season. With a fifth best offensive record in the league, goals are not the biggest problem for the Oranges, but failing to keep the opponents at bay has been the biggest reason for their downfall.
In Bordeaux, the hosts will be facing a team which is somewhat blatant on attacking front. The return of 23 goals ranks as only 12th best in French first division, so Marseille’s stuttering backline may have a good chance to get some confidence and shore up the defence.
A win for Marseille is our call.
