MCFC vs BFC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Mumbai City will have a golden chance to move to the top of the table when they host still undefeated Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League regular season match at Mumbai Football Arena, in Mumbai, on Sunday evening (IST).

Mumbai City:
Mumbai City ripped Kerala Blasters apart before the AFC Asian Cup break kicked in, beating them 6-1 at Mumbai Football Arena, effectively putting an end to David James’ ISL stint. The win extended Mumbai’s own incredible unbeaten streak to eight games and at the moment, they are one of the teams to beat in ISL.

The season, however, threatened to go on towards the most familiar shore as the Islanders lost 0-2 at home against Jamshedpur FC. Only once Mumbaikars have qualified to the playoffs in their entire ISL history, and based on the first-day performance, perhaps it was too much to ask from them.

However, Jorge Costa’s team then embarked on a streak which fetched them 7 wins and just one negative result in 11 games. They should earn more than 30 points from 18 games which should be enough to propel them into the playoff rounds.

To put the cherry on the top, Mambi are now in a position where they could even go to the very summit of the ISL table, provided they become the first team this season to snatch all three points away from Bengaluru FC. Considering what happened in the reverse fixture, Mumbai should fancy their chances.

Bengaluru FC:
The Blues are setting the standards pretty high this season. There has never been a team in the ISL history to go this far in the campaign without tasting a defeat. But the fact that Bangalore have done so in the first 12 games, and that too despite playing to their full potential in most of the games, makes them a formidable opponent for the rest of the teams in ISL.

The last season’s beaten finalists tick almost all the boxes. They have won the most games in the league so far, scoring the fourth highest goals, and also have conceded the fewest heading into their next encounter.

But the only blemish on their near-perfect campaign so far and something which may undo them in during the playoffs is their failure to put the results beyond opponents’ reach. They have kept just four clean sheets this season, and just three in the last eight matches.

Though Carles Cuadrat still boasts the best defensive record, the repercussions could be high once the playoffs start and the away goal rule comes into the effect.

MCFC vs BFC Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
The last game between these two teams was a close affair. But the proceedings in that match should give Mumbai more optimism going into their next encounter against the Blues.
Bengaluru FC were at home, took the lead and played the most of the second half against the 10-men. But the game still ended 1-1.
Mumbai not to lose this game.
