MCFC vs KBFC Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Mumbai City will be aiming to strengthen their hold on the second place when they host Kerala Blasters in an Indian Super League match at Mumbai Football Arena, in Mumbai, on Sunday evening (IST).

Mumbai City:
On current form, Mumbai City are the best team in the Indian Super League at the moment. They are 2nd in the table, four points behind still-unbeaten Bengaluru FC.

They started the season with a 0-2 home loss against Jamshedpur FC, suffered the biggest defeat of their season in the fourth match, a 0-5 loss against FC Goa on the road.

But since then, the Islanders remained unbeaten in the last seven games. They have won five times in that period, collecting 17 points from the 21 available. Also, Mumbai have kept six clean sheets in the 11 games, the most by any team this season.

Manager Jorge Costa will be content at the way the season has panned out after the first game. However, there is still a room for improvement in the squad, particularly in the attacking department. Mumbai have scored only 14 goals this season, fewest among the top-half of the table. Rafael Bastos should be more clinical in front of the goal. The 33-year-old Brazilian has missed some sitters this season.

Kerala Blasters:
The Yellow Army has suffered too many setbacks this season. They have dropped too many points from winning positions, manager David James has flirted way too much with his backline, including the position between the sticks, and now manager and the players are under serious pressure to perform.

Kerala are now on a 10 game winless streak, a run which started after the first match which they won 2-0 against two-time ISL champions ATK on the road. This was a dream start for them and they have failed drastically to back that with another result.

The season may very well be over for David James and his men as even if they script a fairytale end to the campaign and win all their remaining matches, it may not be enough to take them into the playoff positions.

MCFC vs KBFC Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
The form is with Mumbai and that’s why we have gone with Mumbai’s players.
Bastos can pop with the goals or assists, while Stojanovic is Kerala’s main threat up front. Pablo Machado and Sougou remain a threat on any given day.
The backline is – Issoko actually plays further forward on the wing and has scored few goals as well. and same can be said about Laurenco who can either play as a CB or on the wing.

Team 2:
We have gone with Bastos as our only striker in the team. We have compressed our midfield with five men.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
The momentum is something which can define the outcome of matches, and Mumbai City are on a roll while Kerala Blasters are slipping down in the deep rut.
A home win is our call.
