MCFC vs NEUFC Dream11 Match Prediction

MCFC vs NEUFC Dream11: Mumbai City FC host NorthEast United in a crunch Indian Super League match at Mumbai Football Arena on Friday evening, with both the teams looking for a win to keep their playoffs hopes alive and kicking. That being said, a draw won’t do either team any good considering their respective positions on the table.

Where do they stand?

  • Mumbai City FC are 5th going into this game. Their season was in jeopardy a couple of weeks ago when Odisha FC strung together an impressive winning run, while Mumbai, themselves, stuttered as they dropped two straight games.
  • But a return of 4 points from the last two matches, and Odisha’s two defeats in as many games, has given Mumbai a huge opportunity to break into the top four.
  • The Mumbaikars will, in fact, go into the top-four with a win in this game.
  • NorthEast United, meanwhile, are still in the playoff picture despite sitting second from bottom.
  • The reason being they have played the fewest games and can climb up the table if they get maximum points from their remaining games.
  • But the fact that the Highlanders are without a win in the last 8 league games, makes their case a tad harder.
