Now Carlo Ancelotti can best hope is to clinch the runners up spot. As things stand in Serie A, they are 2nd having accumulated 63 points from 30 games. While Inter Milan are 3rd on the table with a deficit of 7 points separating both the teams.

Napoli can still achieve big things this season as they are still alive in Europe. The first leg quarterfinal tie will be coming next week, so the Naples can certainly use a win here to use some confidence going into the battle against Arsenal.

While Genoa could be more motivated in this match. For the danger of relegation is still looming over them.

The Rossoblu had a magnificent start to the season and at one point were in the top-4. But soon the balloon burst and the negative results became a norm. As a result, Davide Ballardini was sacked and was replaced by Juric, who met the same fate in December for failing to turn the fortunes around.

Cesare Prandelli is at the helm now but there is hardly any improvement. Though there have been some magnificent results like the 2-0 home win over Juventus, there is no denying that Genia can do better.
