OSN vs GRD Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups

Two newly promoted teams will face each other this weekend in La Liga as Granada welcome Osasuna for the league action at Los Cármenes.

Osasuna have done relatively well for a new team as they sit in the middle of the table with 11 points from the first 8 games, while Granda have exceeded all expectations so far. Not only they are fourth on the table, but the entertainment quotient has been a few levels up from Diego Martínez’s men than what we expect from a team just coming back from the second tier.

Even the 4-2 defeat against Real Madrid just before the international break showed the team’s unflinching determination, for the team kept probing despite falling behind 3-0 at the hour mark. Two goals were the least they deserved from that match.

Osasuna, meanwhile, have lost just once in the first eight league matches – the joint second-best record in that regard.

But there’s more to Osasuna than just the number on their win column. Jagoba Arrasate’s team are always disciplined at the back, not giving the opponents easy goals. No wonder, they have conceded just seven goals in the league so far.

Team News:

Granada:

Osasuna will have to deal with the absence of their in-form centre-back German Sanchez. The 32-year-old will be serving a one-game ban for the accumulation of yellow cards.

In addition, four more players in the form of Neyder Lozano, Fede Vico and Angel Montoro have been ruled out due to injuries.

Possible INs and OUTs of this game:

Since Sanchez is suspended, a change will come at the back. Jose Antonio Martinez is expected to replace him in the playing 11, with Domingos Duarte at the back as well.

Another change will surely come in the midfield due to an untimely injury to Montoro. Yan Eteki should start in the middle of the park as a result.

We expect no more changes from Diego Martínez, with the likes of Soldado, Machis and Puertas all starting the match.

Granada Probable XI:

Silva (GK), Neva, Martinez, Duarte, Diaz, Herrera, Eteki, Azeez, Puertas, Machis, Soldado

Osasuna FC Team News:

Unai Garcia, Kike Barja and David Garcia all are recovering from injuries and will be missing this game as a result.

Robert Ibanez has been ruled out from this game after the player missed the training before this game.

Navarrese midfielder Inigo Perez has been declared fit by Osasuna medical staff but he may not be match-fit at the moment, while Ruben Garcia is a doubt for the match as well.

Possible ins or outs of this game:

The players mentioned above have been on the sidelines for quite some time, so the absence of the above-mentioned players should have no implications whatsoever on Jagoba Arrasate’s decision-making in this match.

The visitors are expected to name the similar playing 11 which won 2-1 against Villarreal before the international break.

Osasuna Probable XI:

Martinez (GK), Estupinan, Hernandez, Roncaglia, Vidal, Torres, Merida, Sanjuro, Garcia, Avila, Lopez

Likely to score:

  • For Granada: Puertas, Azeez
  • For Osasuna: Roberto Torres, Chimy Avila, Ruben Garcia
