PSG vs MET Dream11 Prediction: Paris Saint-Germain play Metz in what will be their third game of the season. Both teams are looking for their first win this season with two straight losses in the previous games. Paris Saint-Germain’s campaign could not have started off worse, with a 1-0 loss to Lens and then a loss with the same score-line to Marseille in what was a very intense game that ended with 5 yellow cards and 3 red cards including suspensions to prolific players like Neymar and Leandro Paredes. These red cards have only heaped more pressure on an already lengthy injury and absentee’s list for Thomas Tuchel’s side. The French champions will be raring for a win but since their loss in the Champions League finals and injuries have not been kind to them at all. Metz also lost their previous two games 1-0 against Monaco on the first matchday and Lille on the second matchday. Metz finished 15th in Ligue 1 although the season could not be completed due to the Coronavirus, though they were quite comfortably avoiding relegation. Both clubs will be hungry for a win and an intense game can be expected from both sides.

Who will win today’s match?

Bookies are giving Metz next to no chance of winning with odds of 25/1. Metz aren’t particularly a strong side and will do well to finish above the relegation spots. Despite Paris Saint-Germain’s poor form and start to the season, it’s only a matter of time before the start winning again. They have won the league 7 times in the last 8 seasons for a reason, and their closest competitors, Lyon, Marseille, Rennes and Lille despite being very good, are no match for PSG’s dominance. Their current slump will overturn with the return of Mbappe, Neymar, Icardi and the likes but until then, Tuchel has to find a way to adjust and make do. Metz, on the other hand, will go for broke against PSG. Any result more than a loss, away to the best team in the country, is an incredible result for them. They know that Paris Saint-Germain are vulnerable right now and will throw everything their way to try and squeeze out a result. They will gather some inspiration and knowledge from tactics used by sides like Lens and Marseille. That said, PSG are likely to get the win in PSG vs MET Dream11 Match Prediction match against Metz.

RM vs MLC Dream11 Teams

Captain options

Angel di Maria – With Neymar suspended, Mbappe and Icardi unlikely to play and Edinson Cavani having left the club, Angel di Maria will be deployed down the middle. He will be tasked with spearheading the PSG attack and score their first few goals of the Ligue 1 campaign. Di Maria has had an amazing time in Paris, scoring 81 goals and providing 92 assists. He also had a whopping 23 assists last season and PSG will rely on him now more than ever to get their first win this season.

Habib Diallo – After only making the bench against Lille, Vincent Hognon will look to start Diallo for this important match. The centre-forward has 62 goal contributions in 113 appearances for Metz. He will look to cause problems to the makeshift PSG defence and try to hurt a side that is currently struggling.

Julian Draxler – The German hasn’t had the best time at PSG after a promising spell at VFL Wolfsburg and has quickly fallen down the pecking order. With all the injuries and suspensions, he now has the opportunity to climb up the order and prove his worth to Thomas Tuchel. Having scored only 10 goals in the last 3 years, he will want to turn his fortunes around this season.

X-factors (differential picks)

Pablo Sarabia – The winger will link-up with Angel di Maria and possibly Thilo Kehrer on the right flank to get the job done for PSG. The former Sevilla man had 14 goals and 8 assists last season and will definitely build on that this season. Sarabia is very versatile and can slot into a number of positions which makes him very vital during this tough situation for PSG.

Ander Herrera – PSG needs some leadership in midfield at the moment to dictate play and get some much-needed discipline in order to get their first win. Being a vocal and confident character in the centre of the park, Herrera is likely to take charge of the game alongside Marco Verratti. A lot of PSG’s moves and attacks will come from the duo.

Marco Verratti – Having played for PSG for almost 8 years now, Marco Verratti will be crucial in midfield for the Parisiens. Despite playing a much deeper role, Verratti has 52 assists for PSG and a few more against Metz will definitely help. He will pull the strings alongside Herrera and provide some decent chances to Sarabia, Draxler and di Maria in the final third.
