RM vs RVL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Real Madrid will look to bury the ghosts of the Champions League when they host Rayo Vallecano in a La Liga match at Santiago Bernabeu, in Madrid, on Saturday night (IST).

Real Madrid:
The problems seem to persist with Real Madrid this season. Too much inconsistency, uncanny results and a small matter of some in-house disturbances, all have derailed Madrid’s campaign.

It was a similar story against CSKA Moscow in the midweek. The Los Blancos, having already qualified to the knockout rounds as a group winner, hosted the  Russian Champions in the last group match. Santiago Solari flirted with the starting line-up, giving the likes of Vinicius Junior, Vallejo and Valverde a chance to shine from the off, and not to mention that Isco was there as well. The standoff between him and Solari is well-documented.

The events unfolded in the match will perhaps go down as one of the darkest chapters in Madri’s glorious history. The reigning European champions ended up losing 0-3 in front of their own fans, and the first time to a Russian outfit at the Bernabeu.

The loss may not have any bearings over the Champions League aspirations, but it highlights the fact that Madrid have some problems which even Solari is finding to uproot at this moment.

But the clash against a benign opponent in Rayo Vallecano offers an opportunity to put things in order in the domestic campaign as a win would lift them up to 2nd in the table, and only two points adrift of leaders Barcelona.

Rayo Vallecano:
Rayo Vallecano, on the other hand, are making a return to the La Liga after a gap of two years after winning the Segunda Division. They played five straight seasons in the Spanish top-division between 2011 and 2016 before getting relegated to the 2nd tier.

But at the moment, they find themselves deep in the crisis and based on their form, are one of the favourites to go down to the 2nd tier. They have won just twice in the 15 matches this season, winning four times and losing a staggering nine games. Their tally of 10 points is good enough only to separate them from rock-bottom Huesca, and four points away from the safety.

However, not all is doom and gloom and the season can still be saved as more than half of the campaign is still to be played. But improvements must be made in every department. Their tally of 15 goals is joint-worst while the defensive record is joint worst as well, having conceded 30 times in the first 15 matches.

RM vs RVL Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano Team News:

Real Madrid:
Injured Defender Nacho has been ruled out for the hosts.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has returned to the training and looks in good shape. However, this game may have come too soon for him and he is expected not to be risked at the moment.
Gareth Bale picked up another injury, this time in the Champions League against CSKA Moscow. The former Tottenham star is a huge doubt for the match.
Meanwhile, Mariano and Sergio Reguilon are both carrying knocks and are likely to be assessed ahead of the match.
Note: Tony Kroos is back o his full fitness but is expected to start from the bench only. Isco’s dreadful performance against CSKA and his ongoing tussle with manager Solari means he is likely to be dropped for the match.
Key Players – Luka Modric, Karim Benzema

Rayo Vallecano:
Injured – The visitors will be without centre-back Gorka Eustondo.
Suspended – On-loan Madrid striker Raul de Thomas will not be eligible to play against his parent club.
Also, Jordi Amat is suspended for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the last match.
Questionable – Gael Kakuta and Lass both remain questionable for the hosts.

Note: Emiliano Velazquez is expected to fill in for the suspended Amat at the back.
Key Players – Trejo, Ambarba

RM vs RVL Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
This is a derby which has been one-sided throughout the history. Raya Vallecano have a very very bad record against Madrid both at home and away. They have won just once at Santiago Bernabeu, in 1996.
Benzema will be leading the attack while Asensio is our vice-captain. Kroos is fit now and will be expected to start. Also, note that Gorka Elustondo, Oscar Trejo, Gael Kakuta, Jordi Amat and Raul de Tomas all will be out of this match due to different reasons.
Team 2:

Not many changes here.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
This is a mini Madrid derby and we expect Real Madrid to completely dominate the game.
