SOU vs WHU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Southampton will be looking for their third win consecutive win in the Premier League when they host West Ham United at St. Mary’s Stadium, in Southampton on Friday night (IST).

Southampton:
You could see why fans and the media hail Ralph Hasenhüttl as the “The Klopp of the Alpes.” He is always animated on the touchline, punches his fist in the air, employs his team in a way which asks for the high energy and there are elements of gegenpressing in his team, the quick counter attacks, and the speed, there is everything in his arsenal.

Mark Hughes’ era could never wake up from its slumber even after he managed to save the club from the clutches of relegation last season. That was a great achievement actually but it never felt a great marriage by any means. No disrespect to Hughes but Southampton have always been famous for fast, fluid and attacking football.

The likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman took the club forward but from the start of the last season, they have plunged into the depths where they are struggling to free themselves from the claws of relegation.

But now after the signing of Hasenhüttl, the Saints are once again looking like their very own self. First, they have always been famous for astute signings, whether it’s managers or players and then it’s football. Now both look to have been solved.

For the first time this season they have won two on the trot; a 3-2 win at home which ended Arsenal’s 22-game unbeaten streak followed by an impressive 1-3 win away against Huddersfield. They are now sitting three points clear of the bottom three.

West Ham United:
After losing the first four games of the new season, Hammers were even considered as one of the relegation candidates. Well, it felt like an exaggeration considering the talent and the amount they spent on the new arrivals. And not to mention they also hired the services of former Premier League winning manager Manuel Pellegrini.

With so much overhaul, it was always going to take some time to make the squad more comfortable with each other. And that’s what has happened in the last few weeks.

Before the 0-2 home loss against Watford last weekend, West Ham won four games on the trot. Those precious 12 points from 12 have put the team well and firmly beyond the danger of relegation for the time being. With 24 points from the 18 games, they are 12th in the table and only five points away from sixth-placed Manchester United.

SOU vs WHU Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
Saints are at home and are favourites. Ings is reborn and will be leading both our teams. Redmond has always been a technically gifted and a creative player for Southampton. Armstrong can pop up with goals and is a threat all day long.
For West Hame, injuries have blighted the progress. But Anderson has been a success while Antonio can cause problems to Saints’ languid defenders with his direct pace.

Team 2:
Not many changes but Andy Carroll is expected to start as he has recovered from the injury. With his height he is always a threat and remains one of the best header of the ball.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Southampton have the momentum and are at home. We back a home win.
